About Eco Flight

Eco Flight acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Eco flight offers Carbon Neutral Helicopter Tours around Melbourne and has been founded in 2018 by our Head of Flying Operations Johan. He has a passion for flying and has been flying for over 15 years in the US, Europe and several parts of Australia.

Eco Flight is a CASA certified Part 133 Air Transport (Rotary) carrier and all flights operate under AOC# CASA.AOC.0354

Our goal is to make vertical flight more accessible, affordable and create memorable experiences. This while being mindful of our environment. We operating Carbon Neutral by offsetting our emissions though carbon credits and carbon capture projects.

We operate Robinson R44 helicopters. Not only because they are the most economic option, they are also known for their great view for passengers, the ability to fly without doors (for a more immersive experience and better photos) and having no middle seats.

From our base at Essendon airport we fly to several popular destinations in Victoria. We can also land at your own property for amazing time savings or an extra special tour. Ask us about the requirements.

A quiet revolution is taking place in aviation and we are at the forefront of these developments in electrification of vertical flight. We plan to switch to eVTOL aircraft as soon as possible (and when a certified model is available), making vertical flight more accessible, affordable and better for our environment.
